Don't Get Left Behind!
You must learn to adapt and change faster than ever before.
You need to figure out the strengths and weaknesses of both yourself and the technology around you, because not understanding those is no longer a choice if you want to survive.
If you choose to be ignorant of the technologies that are displacing humans every day, then you're surrendering your future.
No matter where you are in life, it's never too late to decide not to be a victim and learn how to leverage what the modern world has to offer. It isn't easy, but it's absolutely doable.
If you're ready to begin that journey, then you're in the right place.
Why I Wrote This Book
School was always a chore for me. I went because I had to, and I often pushed back on that by skipping classes far more than I should have.
My grades were always just enough to get me through to the next semester, and I didn't find out I was graduating until the Monday before graduation (my economics teacher decided it'd be funny to make me wait until then to find out about the results of my final).
My first job after school was as a laborer on a construction site for $11 an hour. It was brutal, back-breaking work. As time went on, I realized that this was probably not the best way to make a living.
Fast forward to today, and I've transitioned to a much different lifestyle. I've been an options trader, programmer, sales engineer, analyst and writer, among other things.
Not too shabby for a guy who was told numerous times that he'd end up a bum!
The reason I wrote this book is simple: automation is changing everything about how we live and work, and, as far as I can tell, nobody is offering solutions.
Even worse, most of what is written about automation is geared towards people who are already involved in tech.
Do you think that's reasonable? I sure don't–especially since it's non-tech people who are going to be (and already are) affected by automation the most.
With all that in mind, I put this guide together for people like you who are curious about the impact automation will have on their lives.
You might find out that you're in serious danger of getting automated out of a job.
You might discover that you're actually pretty safe.
Either way, I guarantee that you'll learn something new about how automation is going to change your world.
